I’m 60 years old female wanting to get fit. I play golf twice a week but nothing aerobic.
Completed first session without issues but today woke up with really painful knee as though I’ve twisted it!
The pain is on the inner knee. Obviously I’m going to rest until it feels better. Just looking for some reassurance that I’m going to be able to do this.....

Hi. Of course you'll get some aches and pains. Your body is saying 'What the hell is going on?'. That's the idea of the rest days - take it easy and let yourself recover. While you're running, try not to run fast around any sharp corners which might put a strain on your knees. Once again, take it easy. Good luck!
Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.
