I'll start with the bad news.. I'm still on Week 3.
I've had severe pain in my hip and leg so have not been able to run consistently. The pain is only relieved if I sit on the floor for a few minutes and then I am able to continue. This pain hasn't happened through running but has been going on for a few years now. Neither GP or physios really know what's happening so I am going to persevere in (trying) to lose weight and keep running. This pain and other (female) issues have paused my progress but I am going to carry on. I have got to look better before I'm 50! I want to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe of things I like rather than put up with things that just fit.
Rant over! Actions speak louder than words..
I'm posting this with the intention of keeping me honest!
Ooh, that sounds really frustrating for you but sounds like you are being sensible resting up and also getting checked out by your GP and physio. Keep going with the running and take your time with it, having extra rest days when you need to. You'll get there!
Ranting is good!!! It lets out the pressure and you’re so positive about continuing. Go girl, one tie curling ouchridden step at a time, I’m a week behind you and it’s not easy but feel very inspired by “rants” because it is reality.
