Hmmm, about to run again today after a five month break due to injury, illness & life’s circumstances!
Am very nervous but keen to start.
I was about to start Week 8 when I hurt my ankle that I broke the year before. I was thinking of starting again at Week 5 ....does this seem sensible? Should I go further back??
This is my third attempt at finishing the programme (😂) & I’m keen to see it through - though I know I need to build up again and start gently....Any advice? Sx

As it's been 5 months since you last ran and you've had an injury you might be better starting at wk1 so you can build up your running safely good luck 😊
Welcome back ! I would go out and do 1:1 and see how it feels. If it’s hard then you know where you are; if it’s easy then try 2:1, then 3:1 and so on till you find your level. Enjoy !
Pick yourself up, dust yourself down and start all over again... 🎶🎶🎶
It is a song, but after that long it is not a bad idea.. you are picked, up, you are dusted down. so you are ready.
Slow and steady, ( yes, I am still banging on about slow and steady)...you have done this before, so...no pressure, relax, enjoy. You know you can do it, you know we will be here running there alongside you.
Many, many of us have repeated the plan or parts of it... I am still on the IC, only ten days but for a variety of reasons, I shall be thinking very seriously about repeating it!
Just set out and take in every single wonderful moment.this time, you can take time to smell the roses...
