I tore my knee ligaments 2 weeks ago - doing of all things getting into my seat in a train!! - have ( obviously) not run since

Rested and supported knee for everyday activities since but now feel ( with support) I could try a gentle run this weekend

What are your thoughts?

Too soon?

I don’t want to leave it so long that I lapse!!But I don’t want to cause damage either

What has your doctor advised reference getting back to activity. It is a very delicate time after injury and I would always urge to take longer than you think as we actually don’t heal as quick as we think we do,

Tore the ligaments and want to run after two weeks? I don't think you'd last two metres, tbh. Knee is a difficult customer at times, it took me over three months to start running again having damaged it in week 2. I simply started from scratch and several years later I am still running. Heal the knee and don't think about lapsing, that's worse enemy than any injury. You want to do this thing? Go for it!
