Hi all, I’m on W3R3 of C25k and - surprisingly - enjoying it so far! Just wondered if any of you are attempting it with back problems/sciatica and, if so, any tips for reducing impact or lessening sciatica twinges? Also, any tips for steadying breathing as the runs get longer would be much appreciated!

Both these should get easier as you progress. The stronger muscles should protect your back more and the more confident you feel will make the breathing easier, just relax into your runs. I tend to gently shake my shoulders and arms and take a few good deep breathes at the beginning of the run to help me relax. Happy running. Rfc x
