Yayyyy R1 completed but dammmn who knew an extra 3mins would make such a difference! I really felt it even with me slowing the pace down. I gave myself 2 days rest again however I've eaten way too many chocs over Easter and I could feel it.
I read something about wearing the appropriate clothing depending on the weather? I have the all the proper gear and usually wear leggings, vest sports bra (of course) and a long sleeve zip top however I get really hot and could quite happily run just in the vest and leggings but should I? I run in the evenings.
Anyway 28mins non stop, I did it!
Hope everyone is still loving running! x

The rule of thumb is to dress for 10 degrees warmer than it is (20 if you think in Fahrenheit like me) so recently it’s certainly as little as possible/legal.
There we’re people out running on my run tonight in just shorts and sports bras and men in just shorts and a vest T-shirt and I live in a very family oriented neighbourhood so I don’t see why not!
Hi, like you I find I heat up really quickly, even more so with the longer runs, so now i just wear leggings and a long vest top (plus the obligatory sports bra!). Only when it’s 2-3 degrees or lower would I opt for my long sleeve running top but even then after 15-20 minutes I’m regretting it and rolling up the sleeves! Good luck with W8 🏃♀️👍🏻 x
I’ve run a couple of times over the weekend in shorts and vest top (plus sports bra), I heat up quickly and it was so much more comfortable than my long running leggings and top 😊
