Wow, was I pleased for the brisk walk after 25 mins! That was a push today, but the accomplished feeling of ticking off another week is just great. If someone was to tell me those short few weeks ago I’d be running for 25 mins I would have laughed in their face, but here we are hahaha!
I’ve given up thinking by the end of week 9 I’ll be anywhere near 5k, my goal has now shifted to running for the 30 mins and that will be MY victory. From there it’s a solid platform to build on and better myself.
Oh and when the session was complete Sarah said “welllllllll done, I’d say you’re a runner now” or words to that effect - and I answered “thanks Sarah pet” and smiled even more 😂😁

I will be so happy with myself when I’m at the stage that you are, so well done and go you!
I honestly don’t think you should worry about that pace, it’s something that will definitely get better the more we stick at it. It’s a fantastic achievement and you know already what your next goals are, I’m looking forward to seeing your graduation post 🙌🏼
Great job.. perfect mindset. You got this now... 5k comes after 30 minutes for the vast majority of us... you’ll do both and with work (if you want to) they’ll happen on the same run one day. What really matters is those 30 minutes, they’re life changing and extending. Enjoy closing this plan out.
