Jo Whiley was right when she said this would be hard from a psychological point of view.
It was harder to motivate myself to get out today and start week 5 but I’m glad I did it. Lovely day out there and I managed to complete all 3 runs; albeit at what felt like a snails pace. Felt like I had really achieved something.
My goal this week is to hit run 3 on Saturday at the local Parkrun and the run I did today was along the same route. Going to rest plenty tomorrow and ensure I drink plenty of water to give myself a chance to succeed on run 2

When I moved 6 months ago I was overwhelmed with the move and a new job that I lost sight of running.
I kept telling myself when the weather is nicer or I feel less tired I ‘ll get running again. I lacked complete motivation and I didn’t think I would run again.
The other day I got up and told myself get up and do it. I found my running kit and put it on and I have started back at the beginning at Week 1 so my body could get used to running.
Yeah, sometimes motivation is hard, especially if your running on your own like I am. I’m going to pin some motivational quotes on my fridge to help me. Now I have made that step I am running again and am aiming to get my fitness levels up and perhaps join a running group.
Keep up the motivation, we all have off days. 🏃♀️
