Hi everyone. I graduated the Couch 2 5k program in mid-February and having consolidated for a few weeks, I now run 5.1km in 35 minutes. I've been doing this for 3 or 4 weeks and am now looking ahead to the next step- that being the mystical 10k. I have had the Zen Labs Fitness Couch to 10k Running Trainer app recommended to me, and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or advice? I am ideally looking for something as similar as possible to the One You Couch 2 5k app (which was fantastic and actually worked!) I've searched this site but nothing seems to 'leap out' as an ideal program. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Aiming for 10k
If you head over the Bridge to 10k forum there are loads of folk just like you: including me! There is a great programme designed by one of the admins: ju-ju’s magic plan, aiming to go from 5k to 10k in 8 weeks. It’s taking me a bit longer, I’ve hovered at the 8k mark for a couple of weeks. There isn’t an app or podcasts for this, it’s just a plan for a short run, a 5k and a longer run every week, but it’s completely adaptable. Others on that forum may be able to advise if you want to try an actual app. Good luck!
Personally I’d be following ju-ju-‘s plan on the Bridge to 10k programme as it’s tried and tested by C25K graduates, has varied runs and includes some cross training.
You can use your tracking app to manage the run, and it can be set to give you updates. If you’re wanting more coaching in your ears, Nike+ Run Club has guided runs for all durations 5 minutes to 90 and some distance based ones (these are relatively new and being added to so there’s only a handful there at the moment)
I second Molly1973's advice, head over to the Bridge to 10K forum and check out Ju-Ju's magic plan.
It's not an app but a It'll get you up to 10k in no time.
Easiest thing would be to read IannodaTruffe 's response to your "Graduation" post from 2 months ago with the 'what next??' information.
