Just completed run 1 of week 2. 🎉🏃♀️🎉
Felt ok when I was out but my legs really hurt now. Especially my thighs and shins - so basically my whole legs! 😂 never run in my life and last week I couldn’t of imagined running for 90 secs! Will keep at it!

Well done Bexs13 for getting started. Aches and pains are to be expected as most of us also haven't exercised for years. Keep it slow and steady and take your rest days. Take an extra rest day if needed. The aches and pains should get better after about week 3 or 4 as your body gets used to your new exercise regime!
Yes please do keep going, when you first start a new exercise you may have a few aches which is ok it's just your body getting used to it😊😊
Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and includes advice on minimising impact and stretching.
