Hi All, on w9r1 and enjoying the course - did all the right things and had proper trainers (Brooks) fitted after measuring gait etc (plus £120) and been fine up to now - all of a sudden I am getting a blister on right foot under the pad (under big toe) - really odd - any tips anyone?

Running socks should help. I bought 4 pairs of Hilly Marathon socks 2 years ago. Excellent quality and are great for preventing blisters. Still looking like new.

As above... socks will help, but may not cure the problem. There’s lots of choices and the middle isles of the German supermarkets often stock them at great prices. Just be warned, there’s a left and a right in a pair of running socks.

whilst its healing i highly recommend Compeed plasters. I found them to be the best. Cheaper alternatives don't live up to the job imho.

best of luck and congrats with getting this far. The podium is in sight :)
