Perfect run???

I'm prompted to write this by today's 1st run post graduation.

It was hard, because the wind was either pushing me forwards or whipping in my face making it hard to catch my breath.

In the whole 9 weeks,I think I had 2 runs where something wasn't wrong.

From minor things like having to slow pace to get through muddy patches throwing off my rythym to shin splints 5 mins in.

Anyone else feel like this,or am I just unlucky/whining???? 😁

That could be me writing the post! I’ve had two very good 5k runs but the rest have been shorter than I wanted usually due to breathing and/or wind!

It does get better! But when we’ve completed c25k we’ve only run for a total of just over 8 hours. Which is amazing but also not so much. Our bodies have to build muscle and the strength and stamina for running. Took me about 6 weeks after graduation before things became easier. But I did find the fact that I could actually run blooming amazing (I thought I’d die on W1) and that kept me going.
