Beautiful morning for a run

Yesterday morning I decided to get out for my 5k Run, sun just up, absolutely glorious. Took it really slowly, breathing in that early morning freshness. I had been thinking about extending my run for a week or so, but then remembering what you guys recommend, little by little. Anyhow as I was really taking it steady, when I got to a certain point where I could extend it I thought "let's go for it" I could always stop and walk. I finished up doing 7.38K, really pleased with myself. So today as it was still gorgeous weather my partner and I did a Nordic Walk around Clumber lake 6.5k could not believe it, February in shirt sleeves! Got to make the most of it, turns out I've got an Inguinal Hernia, so operation beckons soon.☹️

Take it steady, once in a while you will get away with it but if you stayed at that distance before you were ready you can injure yourself and unfortunately you don’t get much warning it is happening. Lovely photo. Glad you had a nice run. Rfc x
