Hardest bit now 😢

Loved the programme - today is the first time I’ve missed a scheduled run because of my stupid thigh and I can’t tell you how sad I feel. I’ll bounce back and I know it’s not the end of the world but sat on the sofa right now makes me feel really miserable

Sad times. My right calf ached/hurt from about W8R1 to W9R2 but by W9R3 it had healed. I did have an extra rest day between some of the runs which may have helped. Hope it eases up soon so you can get back out there and have some more fun!

Thanks - at least I know I can do this now so won’t be like beginning from scratch again.

You will be back. Running will always be waiting for you. I know it’s miserable but make sure you are ok before going out again.

Yes I will - sat with ice on it now and resting it when I can. Won’t go out running til I am pain free and then slow and steady easy running

Ah that sucks, sorry to hear you are on the IC ☹️ look after yourself, think of it as a holiday/opportunity to catch up on other things?! You’ll be back in no time, I’m sure.

Catching up with John Irving - love his books 📚- so not all bad 😊
