Start of something good

Hi all, I’ve been on a downward slide for 6 years from 14st and half marathons to 17 1/2 st and walking to the bus stop.

I live on the seafront in Brighton so have a flat track with good views :)

Let’s see how it goes.

Also, there’s more than one c25k app does anyone have a recommendation?

Welcome back to running. Great location to get back into this and beyond... they even do two HMs back to back there in April I believe! Enjoy your journey back.

I’ve downloaded a few over the years - the NHS one is brilliant with no annoying ads or locked sections that you have to pay to access. I would highly recommended it. I have one run left and can only say I feel like this app has changed my life which makes me cringe typing as it’s seems a tad dramatic but it’s true 😂😂 good luck and enjoy

Nice place to live with lovely views of the English Channel, perhaps a bit busy in mid summer. 😊 I hope your runs 🏃 go very well. 😊 🏃

Brilliant that you are starting back again. Also, you have an advantage in that you know you can do this - many of us started thinking that we would never be able to run. You may get a bit frustrated occasionally thinking of your previous HMs, and you may want to go too fast on the programme, but take it slow and steady and you will be there again, no doubt about it. If you want to, that is. You might get back into running regularly and be very content with that, as many of us are. Whatever it is, well done for coming back, welcome to the forum, and please keep us updated on your progress :)
