The tawny owls were hooting at the bridge, the dawn was breaking in primrose yellow and turquoise, and I was out nailing 5:2. What in the world has happened to me ?!!! Wish me well for 5:3 on Hogmanay π

However you do it, congratulations and admiration. Do you wake up this early naturally?! All my runs are typically late morning.
Iβve had weird sleep patterns for months now - I blame my age π My preference seems to be for running late in the afternoon, but family responsibilities are getting in the way just now, so I just thought Iβd get out there while they were all still asleep π΄ !
Well done! I love an early-ish morning run! About 7.30-8am. But can only do that on weekends. Have been wondering about before work week days but my shower doesn't work and I am not sure I can fit everything in with getting kids up for school too!
Is tempting though! Maybe in summer when it's lighter earlier in the mornings?
BCK thatβs brilliant!!!! πππππ5:2. Just so so chuffed for you. You are doing amazing. Keep looking forwards and be so proud of yourself. All your virtual running buddies are with you. ππΌββοΈππΌββοΈππΌββοΈAnd I am still singing badly. πΆπΆπΆπΆπΆ

What has happened to you?????!!!!!
You are doing great, lady.
Just finding it hard to believe - keep thinking Iβll wake up and find someone else is doing the running for me ! If I can make it through the next one, the dreaded week 5 will be my first one without a single repeat. Who would have thought it ?!
You know it is not dreaded W5R3.........wash your mouth out!!!
I said βdreaded week 5β, honest guv ! If thereβs one thing Iβve learned through being autistic, itβs that no matter how bad the truth may be, itβs never as bad as the fear. Iβm just going to get out there and look 5:3 right in the eyes, and weβll see who backs down first. And Iβm warning it, my stubbornness is legendary π

Chickened out of my run this morning, strong winds here, but watched The Stones in Cuba on telly and now feel guilty, apparently Mick Jagger, leading up to a tour, runs 8 miles a day, kickboxes, does yoga, (aerial yoga no less) and ballet at 75! Iβm exhausted writing that so think a run tomorrow may be in order. πΆπΌββοΈ
Yeah yeah. We all know what these publicity spiels are like. I bet he does them really, really slowly π Iβm glad now that I did get out early because itβs blowing up a storm here too. Better safe than sorry ! Hope you get out tomorrow and it goes great x
Aerial yoga? Is that like yoga whilst holding an old TV aerial then? πΊ ππ€

Well done you, I am still struggling with achilles tendonitis on the left ankle but managed w8r2 last week and with heel drops and massages with my new toy "Pulse Roll" (it's a foam roller but has 4 vibration settings and feels great) I might try W8R3 tomorrow. Did a 4 mile Nordic walk around Clumber lake the other day, not too fast, but nobody overtook us! The tendon was sore but glad I did it. Thought I would graduate before Christmas, then New year but "Hey Ho" what does it matter? I intend to do it however long it takes! BTW, when I saw 5:2 I thought you meant the diet, because I'm doing that too! Keep at it, keep smiling, and I'll see you on the finish lineππ€£π€

Congratulations BCK on running week 5 run 2 of C25K with the company of those tawny owls a hooting on the bridge, better running early morning than late afternoon. Its really good now that you don't need to repeat any runs or weeks now as you had in weeks 1 to 3.
I know that you have nothing to fear regarding run 3 of week 5 on Hogmanay (New Years Eve) you will π run that 20 minute run without any problems whatsoever, what a fantastic way to end the year. π π I certainly do wish you well.
