It does get a bit easier Dave as you get through the program, as long as you don't rush anything and just take the runs slowly you should find it gets slightly easier.

Cheers. I did go a bit faster over the front of the run and then dialed it back a bit to get to the 25 minute mark. Might be better starting slower and finishing strong.

See if that works better for you. Sometimes I find that it works best for me to slow down intermittently, as and when it starts feeling like “this is too much”

Dunno about "easier" 'cos the competitive side is strong -running achievements I thought would be utterly impossible for me two years ago can seem "tame" now if I lose my sense of perspective :)

Had to literally laugh at my own pampered nonchalance a while back when I caught myself saying I was "just going out for a quick 5k run to get the running day sorted"lol. This from someone who was literally blue in the face on W1,D1, only two years ago :)

I used to think if I could make the 3/10ths of a mile marker at the local park I would be exultant, now I'm fretting I might have to walk a bit in an upcoming Ten Mile event...

So - does it get easier? Possibly not - but it sure as heck gets better :)

Wishing you many happy miles in your future ☺

Feels as hard but you go further and longer 👌🏽 looking back, I would find c25k easy if I did it now. It’s a long process though this running!

Cheers . 5K seems do-able. Much further than that I'm not so sure.

Well done . Next step for me is a 10K I suppose. Great Scottish Run in a year's time.
