Grit your teeth and stick with it, it does work. I’ve finished the programme and am continuing to run 3 times a week even when I was on holiday in France!

You’ll be fine HorseygirlSW. W6R1,2 tend to catch people out (apparently) You’ve done the ground work for your next run. Slow & steady wins every time. Don’t over think it 👍🏻

I agree with Oldlady - slow and steady. There are no prizes in the C25K for speed or distance; or for beating your PB or other runners. Just keep at it and speed and distance will improve without you even realising.

You have come this far and you CAN do the rest... you can.

I did the same run yesterday and found the second 10 min run really tough. I think that in my case it was because I changed the second half of the route and it turned out to be slightly uphill all the way! Even though I think my normal route will be too short from now on I will stick to it, at least for the next run tomorrow. 25 minutes does feel daunting, but so did 20 minutes and I managed that. I follow Jo Whiley’s voice and try to keep telling myself positive things such as “I can do this” especially when it doesn’t feel like I can. This has worked so far. I am rooting for you on your next run, you can do it and you have got this far! Let me know know how you get on.
