I am having a Bad Day at work and I REALLY did not want to go out for a lunchtime run today. I put it off and put it off. In fact, the only thing that made me get out there was the thought that I would feel far more miserable and guilty if I didn’t go out than if I did. So I thought of it as a ‘can exercise really help with mental health’ experiment.
Well, it worked for me today ☺️ Up (and down) the steepest hills around here, which I’ve not run for a couple of months, and I am amazed at my times 😁 This includes approx 4 mins of walking both before and after the run and are an added bonus to just being happy that I got out in the sun and fresh air. #offthecouch
Edit: I know that my fast times would’ve been going downhill...!
