Great run. Are you following a plan or just slowly extending? Good job on the knee, maybe it’s a stiffness and so eases as you warm it? Stretches should help.
I’m not really sure. I was going to possibly follow the plan that a lot of people do on here. Jujus?
It might be does feel tight now I’m sat down. I did have 2 rest days in between runs. Just to air on the side of caution.
I know many people on here go on to do bridge to 10k. I initially started running to loose belly weight and not be out of breath so much. So unsure really. 😬
Yeah... juju’s is a tried and tested plan for graduates of C25K after a little consolidation. I’d either follow that or a plan devised by someone else that knows that they are doing. Adding distance needs to be done carefully, I’d rather run 10k in a few weeks injury free than in two with huge risks.
I’d keep doing what you’re currently doing while deciding which route to take. I have a long term plan of consolidation, long 5k race plan (taking me beyond 10k and towards half marathon) and then eventually a marathon plan from there. I think this will keep me going for two years, and post marathon I’ll be coming back down to 5k as I’ll have achieved all that I want to, so it’ll be maintenance from then on.
