On my third week of week3 and just about ready to move on but week4 is almost double the running time. Could do with something in between!

You’ll be fine Nevertooold. It’s those blummin head gremlins niggling at you, tell them to naff off. A slow and steady pace will see you through. Embrace your inner snail 🐌. You can do this!! 👍🏻

Each week steps up the demands, but C25K is a brilliantly structured programme and the majority of people joyfully conquer the new week, despite their doubts.

Learning to run is a hugely psychological journey which requires the development of self belief............. you can do way more than you think you can. This might help healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

There is nothing wrong with you adapting the programme for your own needs, but how do you know you can't complete a run until you try it. Give it a go, you may surprise yourself.

Look how far you have come since W1.

Everyone feels the same honest! But you will be surprised - just take it easy and slow down.

Agree with all the above x

Its recommend that if you successfully complete a run then not to repeat it but if you get to w4r1 and can't do the whole 5 mins (but you will as we believe in you 👍👍💪) then just repeat that one until you crack it.

The head gremlins will get you long before your body reaches its max capability so you may need to play mind games against yourself.

I find using a new route helpful as it takes my mind off the running 🤣 take it nice a slow. you will smash it because you're awesome!

I’ve finished my second week of week 3 this morning and I feel exactly the same as you - 3 minutes of running still feels like a lifetime, so the thought of running for 5 minutes is really scary!! Looking at the advice you’ve been given, I think I’ll slow down and go for it. Good luck!!

Thanks everyone for your advice and encouragement, tomorrow’s the day that I’m going for it.

We all though the same, so you're in good company. Just keep going with it, you can do this.

I’ve just done wk4r1 and it’s tough but totally doable, I found on the 5 minutes runs I got to just before 3 minutes and thought it’s only 2 extra minutes and broke it down into 30 second segments and it whizzed by, good luck and you can totally do it 😀
