Hi all am actually starting to enjoy this now but have found I now have a sore knee,any advice would be great as I have never run before. I am 52 and overweight which doesn’t help I know 😐

Aches and sore can be normal as your legs adjust. Try not to land on your heels, landing flat and under your body will put less shock through the legs. If it’s sharp and stabbing pain then stop the run. Knee supports are handy if it continues... gait analysis for running shoes will also help. There’s knee strengthening exercises in the pinned posts to do on your rest days too. Well done in the run... and welcome to the sore knees team!

Thanks will look at the exercises, will probably need better running shoes too as didn’t want to spend out too much at the start. Certainly only aching as well
