I thought I'd done really well when I finished but upon seeing my pace I'm not so certain anymore plus my husband was questioning it too

Well done on completing W6R3, it feels amazing, doesn't it?

TBH, I can't see anything 'wrong' with your pace. Just think, only just over a month ago you (probably) started running from scratch and were only running for 8 single minutes at a time with walks in-between!

What I'm saying is, what you've (and what we've all achieved every single day on here) is remarkable. Be proud and punch the air, at this stage in the app you get called a runner :-)

Too early to worry about pace. The idea of C25k is to be able to run non stop for 30 minutes. When you have achieved this goal on a number of occasions then move on to other apps or podcasts. These will help you increase your pace and run even further, if that is your wish.

I graduated a number of weeks ago and was in similar position to yourself. I have since broke the 5K barrier and am slowly getting faster.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for that I'm talking myself into feeling better about that run, I'm mega proud of myself but not at the same time I suppose that's life though never satisfied with what you've done or at least that's me all over lol 🙄

Can't see anything wrong with that pace if it suits you. It's not about how fast you are anyway. I'm on week 9 and only a teensy bit faster. A few weeks ago I got overtaken on a run by a guy walking !! In my defence he did have long legs and mine are shorter!!

Keep on doing what you are doing !!!

Well done on getting this far, graduation is not too far away.

The aim of c25k is to run 30mins non-stop. To do that you need to run at a pace suitable and sustainable for you, no one else. Once you have graduated there are lots of ways of improving your pace or distance (never both at the same time).

But for now just keep doing what you’re doing and enjoy yourself 😀. You’re doing great!

Thanks all of you not sure what happened to me back there I had a complete high of oh my days I ran for 25 minutes then checked my Fitbit app and seemed to hit rock bottom about it, this running malarky doesn't half make you have a roller coaster of emotions 😳😊
