Tight Legs!!!

I’ve just done W3R2 and I’m really proud of myself for doing it, I’m definitely not a runner in fact I always shy away from any kind of exercise but I’m actually really enjoying it. I found today really hard though my legs felt so tight right from the start and my shins hurt My husband said I don’t drink enough so I’ve been drinking loads of water and I make sure I stretch before and after does anyone have any other tips?

Your husband is probably right, so continue with hydrating plenty. 👍🏻👍🏻😀 Continue with your stretching too, more after your run than before.

You could also try slowing down during your runs, but if your shins are still tight you could give a foam roller a go. I have one (just in case!) but haven’t used it so I’m no expert, but apparently they’re excellent for tight muscles. May be worth a try? 😀
