So I completed week 4 on Monday but due to work commitments and a PT session tonight after work tonight I can’t start week 5 until Friday is a few days gap going to matter?

Nope, it could even help to have a little break. You’re gonna be fine.

The rule of thumb here seem to be that you don't lose much condition in a week or even two. Obviously that doesn't mean that one run a fortnight is enough on a regular basis :) But a week or two weeks off now and again does no harm and can sometimes be beneficial. If you look at the training plans that road racers use you'll see they cut right back in the week before the race so that they're fresh on race day. The hard work gets done well before that of course :) Even professional runners take a week off now and again. You'll be fine.
