Where/When to run

I'm currently half way through week 3 (in fact, getting ready to go and do W3R2 right now...) But trying to work out my plan going forward. I started the program over the summer break (obviously) and will be going back to work in 2 weeks time. At the moment, the run is the first thing I do - but at the same time as I'd usually be getting to my desk... So my questions are...

1. Is there a major difference between running outside and on a treadmill?

2. Is it easy to set the runs up on a treadmill? Is there a setting/programme, or could I do it on some sort of free speed setting?

3. Is there a part of the day which is better for running?

Thanks everyone!

I've just started week 5 and prefer to go as soon as my eyes open on a morning so it's done! I've never used a treadmill so hopefully someone who has knowledge of them can help. Keep up the good work tho x
