I'm currently re-doing C25k. Next run will be Week 5 Run 3 - yikes - but I've done it before so hopefully...
Anyway, I can't believe how much I'm enjoying it. I had forgotten about enjoying it. I wasn't enjoying it the last time I tried to do it, or the time before that, because I wasn't as recovered as I thought I was from a health problem.
But I'm enjoying it.
As I drive home from work I think, "Oh it'll be great to be able to run that route again. Hopefully it will be soon", and other such thoughts.
I'm enjoying it, and a big part of the reason that I'm enjoying it (did I mention I was enjoying it?) is the GENIUS that is the NHS C25k plan. It pushes you but doesn't defeat you.
I saw this picture today and it made me smile. In my case it's not so much explaining to other people. It's like my body is sighing and saying to myself, "AnneDroid, let me explain AGAIN why you run".
