2nd 30 min run🏃♂️. Felt the worst I’ve ever felt.....🤢 that’s the last time I eat barbecue chicken 🍗 & Chilli 🌶 sauce at 11:30pm then run at 5am!!
Really took a while to get going and feel comfortable....but here’s the thing.....split times faster and edging ever closer to the 5k goal.... 4.35km this morning so well pleased with that and I feel great now!! 😁
Hope to graduate on Sunday morning then it’s goodbye MJ 🙁 It’ll be up to me to motivate myself past this program and I suspect that’s when you really start to make significant progress toward completing a full 5km in 30mins & beyond......
I’m not sure which program I’ll use to progress.....I’d like to push on to 10km runs in time but I know that will take a lot longer than 9 weeks which is fine.....
For now just enjoying my progress so far & that’s due in no small part to this wonderful forum 👍🏻😃
Wherever you’re at in this program.....keep at it!!

Good for you, tiger. Nearly in the bag now. Take it nice and gently tho okay? Not a race. It's dead easy to get seduced by pushing time and distance too hard too soon. Relax and have some fun for a bit. You're a proper grown-up runner now and there's a special table next to the podium with chilli chicken wings on it for you
Expect good and bad days. Also days that seem to be starting bad, but turn out good, and occasionally the other way too. Learn to listen to your body as you run, not to your mind before you set off...
