Well done on nearing the end of the beginning. I am weeks away from finishing but feeling really enthusiastic about achieving my small runs of eight minute. I have a milestone run to do next- wishing you luck and looking forward to reading about your final run.🙂 your so near to graduating🎓, can’t wait to see your shiny badge against your name.

Thank you Hun, I never believed I’d be running 30 mins all be it very slowly but hopefully that will come later. I’m no where near 5k yet but that’s what I’m working to hopefully in under an hour but not a big deal if it’s over. X
Why not try this website: parkrun.org.uk. They do 5K.

My hubby does them every week, I usually go to one of the ones he does as it’s 3 x round a local park I’m aiming for that one so at least if I have to drop out I’m not stuck out in the middle of god knows where lol.
You’re not likely to need to drop out as you can simply walk the rest of the way. My first parkrun was in week 8 of C25k so I wasn’t ready to run 5k but I didn’t have to. I just did the week 8 run - walk 5 mins run 28 then walk again to the finish line. Some people walk the whole way at parkrun.
Oh good, you know about this event. I understand some are miles away from where some people live. Imagine having to make your way back on foot it would be a challenge.🙂
