I booked a 10k few months ago, however since then with different things I’ve fallen off the wagon. Due to have cataract done on Saturday so envisaging they’ll say no running next week ish. It is 3 weeks to the 10k! Thinking of still doing it, but may run and walk it. Do runners run/walk races? Thanks in advance

Runners do run/walk (I do) and the guru on this is Jeff Galloway:

Good luck!

Yay, good old Jeff Galloway. It's taken three weeks of being on this forum for me to see this first mention of him. I used his marathon training guide many, many moons ago before I fell of the wagon. Maybe this time, I'll get round to it. London 2020?

Yes, you'll see plenty of people "Jeffing it" at 10km runs. Perhaps more so at the leisure runs rather than 'races' but you will be in good company all the same.
