1st run after broken leg

So I'm 58years old and that was my 1st run in 2 years after suffering a badly broken leg, I have diabetes so it took a lot longer to heal. I have a date with my 8 year old granddaughter to run the park run in 9 weeks in 30 minutes with her.

Good luck... I went to junior parkrun last weekend and these kids are damn fast these days, she may well kick your butt in 9 weeks, but I get the feeling nothing on earth would make you cross the line before her.

Enjoy the plan, take it easy and tick those runs off. Well done completing the first.

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Enjoy your journey.......... C25K does not guarantee that you will run 5k in 30 minutes at graduation, but you will at least have laid the groundwork.
