Best laid plans

First post grad run just about to go phone rings “can you come and look at little one she’s very hot” half hour spent looking for new batteries for thermometer another 20 mins tending to said little one. Ok change of plans I’ll do w1r1 run & sprint instead of 30 min. Step outside and heavens open. Well these things are sent to try us. Start again tomorrow

LOL, not exactly going to plan, when I plan anything I like to keep to plan A, however, sometimes there is a plan B and that often comes into use often, your plan A and B seems to have been kicked out of play, so to speak, all that happening then going out and it starts to rain heavily, yes I agree that you should try again tomorrow.
