Yes it has taken me 8 months.
W1 to W7 took 3 months because struggled with calf muscle issues. Had to take 3 or 4 rest days between each of the longer runs
W7R3 big calf strain, so out for over 2 months.
W1 to W9 another 3 months. Started again and slowly, because still scared about injury and tried to condition my legs better than the first attempt with 2 or 3 days rest after each run. From W7 managed 3 runs a week and calves were coping well.
Have enjoyed it a lot as I'am fitter, lighter and have a smaller waistline, but am already missing Laura's guidance. Have done 3 parkruns and want to do more, but not sure what I will do between times.
