Completed C25k last week and had a relaxing weekend, with this in mind i decided to run last night as my body was calling. Stepped into the fresh air at 9pm, 28 degrees and completed 8.5km at a moderate pace, not my C25k pace, and was extremely happy with this achievement. ☺☺

Wow well done!
Careful though as you’re o my supposed to increase by 10% each week. I didn’t though but it’s taken me longer to consolidate the 10k I think.
Wow! Great achievement but ... not trying to rain on your parade but maybe take a read of some of the other posts on increasing distance as its not about how long it takes to increase to a certain goal, it's about the damage you do by doing it too quickly ... and I can speak from experience! Eager to keep onwards and upwards I overdid it and ended up off the road for a month. For many people, having never moved like this for years it can be too much for muscles and ligaments to take on board if we keep pushing too hard too early ... not saying you're not capable because you clearly are, but to keep yourself injury free maybe look at planning some increases that bears this in mind? Happy continued running
