Ankle Fine Knee Not So

Having had to take it easy on my running due to my sprained right ankle, tonight I thought I would start to get back on track with a gentle 20 minute run just to test the ankle. The ankle held up well which is great but now I have a sore left knee!!!

Might it be that you're unconsciously compensating with your left leg to protect the right ankle?

I've found that daily stretching exercises for runners' knees on YouTube have helped my knees which are now (W8) trouble free. Also I finally bought proper running shoes last week and they really do reduce the impact travelling up legs. Well worth it!

Hope yours settle soon!

Thanks for the advice - I shall check out YouTube and with a birthday next month I will look to getting some better trainers.
