Park run after 6 week break

I did the couch to 5k from March to June running 2/3 times a week and was very pleased to complete my first park run in 33 minutes on 2nd June I was ecstatic! Something I had worked towards this for weeks enjoying be able to push myself.

Then I went on holiday!! Uh oh!! no running so different to the active person I was before I left the country on my return the heatwave struck so there was no way I was going to run in it!

But it changed on Saturday as I had a weekend off and managed the park run in 37 minutes and with my dog!!!! I was so chuffed now I ache all down my thighs like you wouldn't believe any tips for recovery? And is it possible to do park runs on a whim when I have free weekends or should I stick to couch to 5 k again?

You don’t need to do c25k again! You’ve done fab. ParkRun when you can 💪🏽

How long have you been running? It's still early days for me I'm not a competitive person but the park runs are getting me hooked on beating my time!

He he he they are addictive!

I started c25k back in February, graduated in April and in May got to 10k but I find them rather long.
