Well I did it. W7r1 25 mins running. I do worry though as I’m only covering 2.5k which is really slow compared to some in here. Should I try to run faster? Or just let it come naturally

No need to run faster at all, you are doing so well! You say, ‘only’ but think about how far and how fast you ran in week one and focus on how far you’ve come since then! As your stamina builds you may find you speed up but let slow and steady continue to be your mantra for now. Good luck with the rest of the program 👍😊

Run faster? Hell no! Run at a comfortable pace. Speed can come later, build stamina and endurance now. But it is like a car: the faster you go, the more fuel you burn. Go for distance. This is about running for longer, not faster.

If you want to go faster, then start at week three after you've graduated, but sprinting... 😂

Hi I did same run yesterday morning amongst the dog walkers in my local wood, I even got overtaken by a walker, but do I care, Hell No, never dreamed I’d get this far, I’m even thinking about post graduation now.

I just completed the same run yesterday and saw a shadow of myself running (slower than a snail ) and was thinking the same thing, maybe I should be trying to speed up, but I think the slow and steady is still the way to go, like Jundal said maybe after we graduate is the time to look at going faster.
