W6R3 - Surprised

Just finished W6R3 and find myself surprised.

When I started the C25K I would say in the middle of each run " I'm never going to be able to finish this" and now all these weeks on I find myself saying " no matter what I will finish this"...what happened to me?

I love it, ...well hate it at the time but no matter what, I know I can complete it at my snails pace and love the feeling that I have afterwards.

I'm even looking forward to W7 as all 3 are the same (I think) so I can compare each run and how I perform.

Way to go. The brain seems to be wanting those endorphins now, and subconsciously you are hearing those muscles say that they got this. You became a runner lol

Brilliant attitude! I agree. I have no idea what this programme has done to me - never in a million years would I imagine myself a) becoming a runner, and b) absolutely lovely doing it. Crazy!

Yes W7 is 3 x 25 minutes. I did R1 this morning and really loved it. No record breaking speed (🐌🐌🐌🐌), but I’ve never felt like stopping.

Enjoy W7. Graduation isn’t too far ahead! Keep running! 😀🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️😀

Yes I remember that. You suddenly realise you’re not sounding like a dying animal and that although you might want to stop you don’t HAVE to. Early on when I was told to slow down if I was tired to get my breath back I was amazed at that generally involved a sofa and a coffee!! Well done. You’ve broken the back of this and graduation is in sight.
