Well decided to rest up today and tomorrow otherwise I'll be done for week one too quickly. .......but guess what ?I want to go and run! I have only done 2 days but the feeling it gives me must be so powerful that I'm already hooked. What a great thing. I can't recommend it enough. Can't believe how good that feels. The rest of my life is pretty manic at present aswell, so maybe it's my 30 mins of sanity for the day. Gotta be good for the soul, this running lark. Have a good day folks .....defo running tomorrow!

As others have said, take that rest day, it's important especially as the runs become more demanding as you progress. And yes running is addictive, I too want to go out on rest days and run, but I fear injury - did that last year and had to stop. Take a brisk half hour walk or a leisurely stroll whatever - try the stretch podcast for those in between days, just don't run! 😎
Hi well done for starting to run, i did the run every day as it was a bit addictive and i never took the rest days in the process i hurt my ankle and was out of action for 2 months ,so now i take the rest days i just do some stepping for about 1/2 hour then do my normal day things yes i want to run every day but you have to rest you'll feel better for it good luck
