I really wasn’t feeling it this morning but dragged myself out, my head telling me to keep up the momentum of 3 runs a week.
5 min walk fine. Started the run, did my usual loop mixed it up a bit added more then I started to think this feels like a long time I’ve gone through 2.5 songs and Jo Whiley has said nothing slow down to check on my phone and she pipes up 2.5 mins left. Carried on finished the last two runs which went very quickly.
Got home and I think that first run I was running for around 8 mins then did another 2.
I’ve only added an extra 5 mins running without really noticing it. 5 weeks ago I was out of breath on the first 1 minute run now I’m running for 8 mins!
Glad for the glitch as it’s given me the motivation kick I needed to get me through the longer runs which I’ve been dreading.
