Just wondering what you guys do on rest days, I walk my dog and do zumba a couple of times. Legs seem to be getting stronger so hopefully this is working for me.

I do leg strengthening exercises and an upper body (arms and core) workout. Takes about half an hour. Loving watching the change in my arms, and I'm sure without the leg exercises I would be struggling with the running.

I walk my dog and do yoga! Yoga and running are a great combo I’ve found. 😀

I've got a little weights workout that I do at home with some core strength exercises as well. I've done that on and off for quite a while but stepped it up a notch in the last few weeks. Then last week I did a bit of cycling as well. Saturday I did nothing whatsoever...that was nice haha!

On my rest days I do a bit of yoga to several Youtube videos, I still cycle, especially on a Sunday morning, usually about a 12 mile cycle ride which is quite short, used to do over 30 miles in a regular basis up to when I was 63, those cycle runs have nevertheless possibly helped me with my running. I have cycled since I was 7, ran since I was late 71, so there is quite a difference. I also do various plank exercises, again to Youtube videos. I bought a pair of 5K kettlebells from Tesco about a year ago, I do the Russian swing and left and right curl exercises with them most days, perhaps because of those other exercises on my non-running days has helped me through the 9 weeks C25K course as I did not have to repeat any runs or give up at any time, especially during the 20, 25, 28 or 30 minute ones.
