Week 1 I was trying not to be sick and overcoming lots of fears and inhibitions. Wedsnesday I did W3 R2 and actually smiled while running. I was tootling along on my 3 minute run admiring the butterflies and absolutely not counting and a blue tit flew over into a tree singing and it was just lovely. I felt good and have been breaking into James Brown at random times over the last couple of days! I've found the right pace this week and a great distraction technique to stop me counting. I've been making up songs as I go to engage with my beautiful surroundings and not think about time. "Relax your legs and don't tread in dog sh*t, falalalalalalalala, keep running slow and admire the blue tit falalalalalalalala" etc. Today is W3 R3 and I'm really looking forward to it for the first time. I've even kind of committed to a cycle ride afterwards! eeeek!
