Just wanted to update you that I m down with stomach and muscle ache Post my running for 30 min at 31 degree (w9r3 ) .. as I am at home, did some google to find out reasons .. it is mentioned that for new runners running in extreme heat can create problems.
Suggestions are
1. Try to run early morning or evening when temperatures are still bearable (I ran at 11 am , so stupid of me .. after late Sunday morning)
2. Due to heat your heart pumps faster to keep yourself cool , on average it’s pumps 20 -30 bpm faster for same pace compared to non summer season . Making us tired faster . Solution is reduce your pace by 20 sec per km to so that you don’t do over exercise.
3. Keep yourself super hydrated, drink 16 oz of water one hour prior to your run and the go to washroom before your run .. keep a water bottle to keep sipping in between .
