5K done!

I have just run my first 5k. Nice and cool this morning so I just kept going. It only took 36minutes and a few seconds so I am thrilled. Now for my first Parkrun on Saturday.

Well done, it's a great feeling isn't it? I did my first one a few days ago, took me a bit longer at 41 mins but am well chuffed that I could do it. Enjoy the Parkrun x

Thanks, I was aiming for 40 minutes but got dragged along a bit by my daughter and nice downward slope. My normal route takes me slightly uphill at the end and I have to dig deep to finish. Parkrun will involve some uphill walking so I will be very happy with 40 minutes ish. Still, we have done it haven’t we, no matter what the time is. 🤩
