So yesterday I had such a bad day at work, I finished really late and was meeting an old friend for drinks. The old becky would have used finishing late as an excuse to miss a day or push it back considering I REAAAALLLY wasnt feeling it.
Instead, I texted my friend saying I was going to be slightly late and hauled myself to the (non air conditioned) gym in the 25 degree heat to do W7 R1.
It wasn’t pretty, I couldn’t find my rhythm and I was clock watching because I was worried about meeting my friend but I STILL DID IT. Covered 4.1k in the 25 without the cool down or warm up which Im really really happy with.
Moral of the story: not every run is going to be as easy or feel as good as W6R3 did, but I’m proud of myself for being determined and seeing it through! 8 runs to go 🏃♀️

That's the hardest thing to do - not feeling it, time pressures, crappy humidity to 'look forward to' and not even any nice scenery to watch. Seriously, well done! You should feel so proud of yourself for not caving in. Getting that first step out of the way is the biggest hurdle isn't it?! Good luck with Run 3!
you're right to feel proud of yourself. sticking to the programme when life gets in the way is half the battle. I hope your next run is more enjoyable!
