So having done really well getting up to w6r1 i then had 2 busy weekends *which were active at least*, with a hellish week at work and then cold/hayfever this week, all combining to not make a run. Hoping to be well enough to do run tomorrow, now not sure if to repeat last run, attempt going forward or evem drop back to week 5? What would folk recommend?

Do your next run, if you don’t manage it, repeat it, 9 days is not that long, good luck

See how you feel. I did the same but earlier in the plan.I’m only beginning week six. I did a run from the previous week then went for it and was fine.

The rule is you shouldn't lose fitness until 2 weeks have passed. However, you've been ill so I'd expect you'll have a tougher run first time back out. So, if you want to step back a run it won't hurt. Might be worth going out and seeing what the first km or 2 brings and decide then what you're able for.

Wishing you a speedy recovery and swift return to where you left off 😊

Thanks folks. Repeated lasy run and managed it, though for first time ever needed my inhaler in walk home, so glad that i went for the repeat. Now to get back on track.
