Hi all, throwing a question out there.

I try to take rest days where possible but sometimes it’s not possible with my work schedule. Has anyone done run3 week 5 the day after run 2 and how was it.?

No question! Take the rest days, life sometimes does get in the way, the run will wait for another day..

Sunday's fine, my wife did 5:3 last week after a break of a week and was fine, no fitness is lost, do asap. Well done on getting there!

I've been to Lanzarote stayed in Costa Tequise, lovely and great walking the long prom, no didn't run there, tried it, but that was too hot for me...

Don't think of them as "rest" days. Think of them as "repair" days. They're absolutely fundamental. They're what your legs (and mind) need to repair and regroup.

What we don't want for you right now is over-training and getting you injured. The run will still be there and taking a few more days between R2 and R3 will probably pay dividends :-)
