Lost my mojo😭

HELP. I have completely lost my mojo. I couldn't complete week6, so just tried to do w5R1 and couldn't even manage that.😟 Question is, do I go back another week or keep trying with w5?

Well done getting where you are! No, carry on and keep on trying, it will come, slow & steady and make sure you're properly hydrated..

You've done amazingly to get this far, if you completed week 5 then keep trying with week 6, the heat makes it even harder than normal so go extra slow and be really well hydrated (I'm drinking 1.5-2 litres of water a day). You could try running early in the morning or in the evening as it with be a bit cooler then. Best of luck, keep going and make yourself proud 😊

Keep trying week 6. Given the setback I’d take a couple of clear days off before you run again.

Week 6 is difficult without the added heat of this week, which sucks energy and ruins hydration and often disrupts sleep.

You want your mind to be as light as possible next time, so don’t carry the baggage of those last runs with you. This is a new run on a new day with new air to breathe and a slightly more experienced you.

Good luck with it. Remember that every attempt is building your condition and improving you as a runner.

But try to keep going - most of it is mental (in so many ways!)

The app says if you are struggling then go back and do the week again or the previous week before carrying on. I would agree with this. I had a week off as not too well. I then spent a week dipping in and out of various runs from various weeks. This is really good as you will realise how far you have come and also helps with speed. You can then go back to week 6 and will probably be stronger

Thanks for all your comments. I'm disappointed as I'm doing the race for Life on Sunday and wanted to run it, but looks like that won't be happening. But I'm determined not to give up.
