I’m determined not to get too hung up over speed yet. I have a Fitbit that records pace, and I’m wondering what others are running at?? I really seem to plod at 7’55” over the session which of course includes the swarm up and down?

I think week 4 is too soon to look at pace. Wait until you hit week 7 - the continual runs - you’ll get a better idea then. It’s just about completely the runs at the mo. 😊

Thanks RC71... I’m not getting hung up on it, and don’t care if people see me doddering along. I have had knee op’s and probably need another one - just taking it slow, just wondered how slow I am in comparison to fellow W4ers...

Because of so many different factors it’s pretty much impossible to compare yourself to others. Gender, age, weight, injury, previous exercise and fitness... all factors we don’t always know.

Just be confident that if you are finishing each running part of each run then you are building a solid foundation for your future running.

There is no defined pace for any stage of C25K. It is building stamina, not speed. That can wait until later.

Compare yourself to yourself, not others, because some will be faster and others slower
