25 min run ✅ Like a rocket apparently!

Have done two 25 min runs in Scotland (first better than second but who’s counting!!!) despite the unseasonably hot weather. Just finished my cool down walk when I met a refuse collector who asked if I’d been out for a refreshing run. Had he actually seen my face?!!! 25 min said I. Well done he said. I’m just learning. YOU SOUND LIKE AN EXPERT TO ME. Now if that’s not a vote of confidence I don’t know what is.

However I still don’t know how far I’m going - not really fussed to be sure but just once I’d like a ballpark figure. At home I can’t get my apps to play ball but as family up here post maps and times I thought I’d give it a go. Strava only gave me a time on Sunday so tried MapMyRun today. Apparently after 5 min I’d run 4K!!! In total it said I’d done 16.48k in just 25 min. Think I might stop while I’m ahead!

Ha, good time that. I had an app, no longer got it that told me that on one of my runs I had ran one of the 25-minute runs of week 7 in 9 seconds, yes, jet-propelled, what I think happened was that it crashed after the first 9 seconds of that run. Better that crashing than me.
